Masterclass with Sol Gabetta
Sol Gabetta, Violoncello 28. September – 1. October 2026
Participants: Students from music universities; a quota of study places is reserved for students of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, at least one third.
Selection procedure: Based on video applications (3 different pieces), evaluated by a lecturer together with the festival management.
Repertoire: Various works that can be performed at the final concert.
Performances: One academy final concert with the participants per session.
SCHEDULE
Day 1 Arrival and Welcome
Day 2-4 Lessons, each student receives 30 minutes of instrustions
Day 5 Final concert
Connection to the Community and the Festival
The masterclass takes place at Collegio Papio and is public and free of charge for our audience. A detailed schedule will be published on the classicAscona website in the summer.
