Concert Tour with Bertrand Chamayou
This March, Ms. Gabetta commences her concert tour with French pianist Bertrand Chamayou. The duo will tour Austria, Italy and France with a programme of works by Felix Mendelssohn (Sonata No. 2 for Cello and Piano in D-major MWV Q 32, op. 58 and Variations Concertantes for Cello and Piano op. 17), and Johannes Brahms (Sonata No. 2 for Cello and Piano in F major, op. 99). Their European tour begins with a concert at the Innsbruck Congress on March 13th, followed by recitals at the Societa Filarmonica in Trento on March 14th, the Conservatorio Statale di Musica “Giuseppe Verdi” in Turin on March 15th, and at the Teatro dei Rinnovati in Siena on March 17th. The pair then continue their concert tour in Vicenza, performing at the Teatro Comunale di Vicenza on March 19th, and then in France at the Halle aux Grains in Toulouse on March 21st.
