December Performances
Following their concert at the Berlin Philharmonie at the end of November, Sol and Bertrand Chamayou embark on a tour from Stuttgart to Central Italy. After their performance in Germany, they will bring their program – which features Mendelssohn’s Variations concertantes op.17, Sonata in D Major no.2 op. 58 and Brahms’ Sonata in F Major op.99 – to Florence and L’Aquila.
Sol Gabetta will then join the Gewandhausorchester, under the baton of Andris Nelsons, for a series of two concerts to interpret the Cello concerto, op.43 by Mieczyslaw Weinberg, on December 21 and 22nd.
