October Performances
Starting the month with a duo concert, in Luxembourg, with Hélène Grimaud at the piano, Sol will perform Robert Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, along Johannes Brahms’ Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 1 in E minor, Op.38 and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor, Op. 40.
Right after, she will embark on a tour with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Performing Edouard Lalo’s Concerto pour violoncelle, they will play in Paris, Vienna, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. This tour marks a new collaboration between Sol and Mikko Franck, the conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, after last season’s Shostakovich Concerto no.2.
