Sol Gabetta receives the OPUS Klassik Award
For her latest Schumann recording, Sol Gabetta receives the OPUS Klassik Award as best instrumentalist of the year. The award ceremony took place in Berlin and was broadcasted by the German TV station ZDF. It is still available online here: www.zdf.de

Sol Gabetta has been awarded the prestigious Karajan prize after an performance of the Schumann concerto at the Salzburg Easter Festival, which Karajan founded. The presentation was made by Karajan’s widow, Eliette. Sol Gabetta is the second artist to receive the award.
