Solsberg Festival & Solsberg Academy
We are delighted to unveil the new programme of the upcoming Solsberg Festival — https://www.solsberg.ch/
A particularly exciting development is the launch of the Solsberg Academy — a new initiative dedicated to nurturing the next generation. The Academy will offer young musicians the rare opportunity to engage closely with established artists in an environment defined by artistic rigor and openness.
Sol Gabetta has invited her long-time teacher Ivan Monighetti to the first Solsberg Academy. From June 29 to July 3, five to six selected cellists will be taught by Monighetti as part of an intensive master class in Rheinfelden.
The master class will take place from June 29, 2026, to July 2, 2026, with daily lessons. It will conclude with a final concert on July 3, 2026, at the Kapuzinerkirche in Rheinfelden.
Interested cellists can apply for the Solsberg Academy . The application fee is CHF 50.
